Moving to a new country is more than just a location change, it’s a shift in everything you know. I’ve been through it myself, not just once, but twice.
I was born in India, raised in Dubai, and moved to Canada at the age of 11. Each move brought excitement, but also a fair share of challenges. I had to rebuild my life from scratch, learning to adapt to different school systems, cultures, and social norms. When I first arrived in Canada, I struggled with feeling like an outsider, I didn’t fully understand the cultural differences, I was unsure how to make friends, and I had no idea how things worked.
Over time, I learned that successfully settling into a new country isn’t just about survival, it’s about thriving. The key is having the right support, guidance, and resources. Looking back, I realize how valuable it would have been to have someone who had walked this path before, someone who could have made my transition easier.

That’s why I started Maple Connect. I want to help others going through this journey, ensuring they don’t feel lost or alone. Whether you need help finding a job, navigating the housing market, understanding Canadian culture, or just adjusting emotionally, I’m here to support you. You’re not alone, your new beginning starts here.
